Here, the delegation of Tuoi Tre Thu Do newspaper presented gifts and solidarity houses to the people and youth of Yen Bai province.

Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do newspaper shared: With the desire to share and support people in difficult circumstances, in recent times, the newspaper has always promoted propaganda and mobilized resources to carry out projects to support charitable houses for people in difficult circumstances.

The delegation attended the inauguration ceremony of two charity houses.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung emphasized the close relationship between Tuoi Tre Thu Do newspaper and the people of Yen Bai province. With the sentiment and responsibility of a journalist, the fundraising activities have received support from readers nationwide. Up to now, the newspaper has donated funds to build many charity houses for households, including people in Yen Bai province.

The two charity houses inaugurated during this working trip were presented to two households, Mr. Trieu Van Noi and Nong Van Hien (Bao Ai commune, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province). Each house is 90 and 120 square meters wide, including 1 living room, 3 bedrooms, load-bearing wall structure, flat roof, and heat-resistant corrugated iron roof.

At the inauguration ceremony of the new house, Mr. Trieu Van Noi could not hide his tears of emotion. "During my youth, I participated in the Southern battlefield. When peace was restored, I was awarded the Second Class Resistance Medal by the State. Now that I have received a house donated by the newspaper and philanthropists, I am very happy and joyful," Mr. Noi expressed.

Mr. Nong Van Hien is nearly 70 years old this year and was awarded the First Class Resistance Medal by the State. Both of their families are near-poor households in Yen Binh district.

Leaders of Tuoi Tre Thu Do newspaper awarded 200 million VND to coordinate with Yen Bai province to build 4 charity houses in 2024.

In the afternoon of the same day, the working delegation visited a number of households of Bao Ai commune, presenting trees, seedlings, labor tools, and production materials.

Through the Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, the delegation also donated 50 million VND to build a playground for children in disadvantaged ethnic minority areas of the province; donated 200 million VND to coordinate with Yen Bai province to build 4 charity houses, expected to be inaugurated in 2024.
