The Minister of National Defense has just issued Directive No. 69/CT-BQP on organizing the Army and Militia forces to participate in the parade at the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

Accordingly, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee consists of 67 comrades, headed by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (in charge of training).

The supporting agencies of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee include: Training staff; combat staff; politics ; security and safety assurance; logistics assurance; technical assurance; financial assurance; and the standing Parade and Marching Subcommittee.

For the organizing committee of units with forces participating in parades and marches (assigned to the units to decide on establishment), each unit focal point has 10 comrades.

The Directive also clearly states the organization of parade and march training; ensuring the selection of people; ensuring military uniforms; military medicine; ensuring weapons and equipment; ensuring the regime; security and safety...

Based on the functions and tasks, the Minister of National Defense directs agencies and units to direct and organize the implementation of the contents to ensure strictness, seriousness, and compliance with the identified purposes and requirements.

The Minister requested the Organizing Committee of the Ministry of National Defense and the Parade and March Subcommittee to inspect the parade preparation and training of units in February and March 2024.

The Minister of National Defense assigned the Military Training Department, General Staff - Standing Agency to develop a specific inspection plan.
