How to get to Tan Son Nhat airport terminal T3?
Vietnam Airlines representative noted that there are separate distances between terminals T1 (old domestic), T2 (international) and T3; travel time between terminals can take about 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions. For convenient travel from T1 or T2 (for connecting passengers) to T3, passengers can choose to use the free shuttle bus arranged by Tan Son Nhat International Airport (with an average frequency of about 20 minutes per trip), or technology vehicles, taxis.
In particular, Vietnam Airlines is a pioneer in implementing the electronic identification and authentication process throughout the journey using biometric recognition technology. At Terminal T3, passengers can experience smart check-in services via the VNeID application developed by the Ministry of Public Security - allowing the entire process from check-in to security check, boarding the plane with just their face, without having to present documents. This is an important step towards a more modern and safer contactless aviation ecosystem.
At Terminal T3, Vietnam Airlines has arranged check-in counters from 56 to 109, along with 22 self-check-in counters, helping passengers save time and increase initiative during the check-in process.
"The transfer of operations to the new terminal not only helps improve Vietnam Airlines' service experience but also creates conditions for Tan Son Nhat Airport to gradually become a dynamic aviation hub in the Asian region. This is an important milestone in the airline's aviation infrastructure development strategy, opening a new journey towards a synchronous, convenient and 5-star service ecosystem of Vietnam Airlines Group" - Vietnam Airlines representative commented.
