Closing ceremony of the football sports medicine course and sports nutrition seminar

VHO - On the afternoon of November 15, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the closing ceremony of the 2025 sports medicine training course and sports nutrition seminar took place.

The closing ceremony of the sports medicine training course in football and sports nutrition seminar took place on the afternoon of November 15.

During three working days, the lecturers shared the topic of sports nutrition in 2025 for doctors, medical staff, coaches of clubs, football teams, football training facilities, sports centers, academies of the Vietnam Football Federation and hospitals nationwide.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Dung, Head of the VFF Medical Department, emphasized: “Vietnamese sports in general and Vietnamese football in particular have had strong achievements and accomplishments in regional sports. Including the contributions and support from doctors in the activities of the national team and clubs.

During the course, we have accumulated and acquired useful knowledge. Hopefully, through this, the students will gain more knowledge and experience to support and improve the achievements of the National Team and the Club they work for."

Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Dung, Head of VFF Medical Department, spoke at the ceremony.

On behalf of the students participating in the training course, student Tran Thi Trinh sent thanks to the Vietnam Football Federation, the lecturers and doctors from Vinmec Hospital as well as Mr. Julian Alvarez for teaching and providing new knowledge.

“With the diverse topics of the courses that we were taught, we learned and absorbed specific practical knowledge about nutrition, injury treatment and how to prevent, diagnose and treat athletes properly.

Through this, students will be more confident in their work when returning to their base, ensuring that athletes and players improve their health and fitness, meeting the requirements of top competition. In the coming years, I hope that the Vietnam Football Federation will continue to have human resource training courses in this field," student Tran Thi Trinh shared.

This year's training course has ended but opened up more in-depth and updated approaches for the sports medicine team in Vietnamese football.

From knowledge to practical experience, the content conveyed during the three days of study created an important foundation to help students improve their expertise, ready to apply it to daily work at clubs, training centers or national teams.
