This tournament is part of the National University Sports Games (NUC) system, chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training , in collaboration with Max Sports Entertainment Joint Stock Company (MSE) and Vietcontent Joint Stock Company.
After more than a month of qualifying rounds, bringing together 161 teams from 131 universities, academies, and colleges nationwide with 241 matches, the 2025 National Student Basketball Tournament entered its final round, held at the Hanoi University of Technology Gymnasium, featuring 8 men's and 6 women's teams representing the North, Central, and South regions.
After a week of thrilling and dramatic matches in a vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large number of students and fans to cheer in person and through social media platforms and the TV360 app, the tournament has found the four outstanding teams that have qualified for the men's and women's finals.
In the women's competition, Ton Duc Thang University and Da Nang University faced off – both teams eager to claim their first-ever top spot. A highly emotional final ended with a victory for Ton Duc Thang University's girls, decided by a mere one point in the final seconds.
The journey to victory, from the NUC Cup TV360 Southern region to the national finals, has demonstrated the admirable strength and perseverance of the TDTU girls.
Following the exciting women's final, fans were treated to another treat by the University of Transport and Communications and the University of Da Nang, with a captivating, vibrant, and dramatic men's final that kept them on the edge of their seats until the very last seconds.
After a series of dramatic quarters, the players of Da Nang University demonstrated their composure and skill on the court, securing a breathtaking victory with a score of 74-71. This well-deserved championship title goes to Da Nang University, showcasing their tenacity and teamwork.
Two finals with unbelievable scenarios and a vibrant, energetic atmosphere created by the packed fans filling both the stands and the field of the Polytechnic University gymnasium provided the perfect ending to the NUC 2026 TV360 Cup.
Under the slogan "Lead the Game," the tournament brought to audiences nationwide exciting competitions, showcasing the sporting spirit, youthful enthusiasm, and aspiration to break through and demonstrate the "leading the game" spirit in all aspects of life for the generation of Vietnamese students.
Beyond its captivating matches on the field, NUC 2025 – TV360 Cup also made a strong impression in terms of media and technology. For the first time, 241 qualifying matches across three regions and 24 final matches were produced and broadcast live in high quality on the TV360 digital platform.
