Khanh Hoa General Hospital: Workshop "Perinatal and Neurodevelopment"

On October 27, Khanh Hoa General Hospital coordinated with a group of medical experts from the French Republic to organize a workshop on “Perinatal and Neurodevelopment”. Attending the workshop were professors, doctors, pediatricians, physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists from the University of Toulouse, the Southern Brittany Hospital Group, the APPEL Organization (France), and the hospital's medical staff.

Leaders of Khanh Hoa General Hospital presented a plaque of gratitude to members of the French expert team.

At the workshop, experts presented many in-depth contents on: Neonatal resuscitation according to European recommendations 2025; developmental care according to the NIDCAP model (individualized care and developmental assessment of newborns); monitoring high-risk children and early intervention for children with developmental disorders in Khanh Hoa. At the same time, updating methods for monitoring vulnerable newborns, neurodevelopmental disorders and early intervention; neurodevelopmental disorders and early intervention - a collaborative approach between physical therapy and psychokinesiology...

After the workshop, the experts will continue to exchange experiences and update in-depth clinical practices with the medical team and doctors of the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Physical Therapy - Rehabilitation of the hospital.

French experts are presenting scientific topics at the conference.

The cooperation program between Khanh Hoa General Hospital and APPEL Organization has been going on for more than 10 years. Through the program, the medical staff in the province has been able to access, update and apply many advanced techniques, treatment methods and care in the fields of neonatology, physical therapy and rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynecology... contributing to improving the quality of maternal and child health care in the province.
