According to a quick report from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang city, heavy rain on October 27 caused flash floods and landslides on the slopes of mountainous areas of Da Nang city, especially in the communes of Tra Leng, Tay Giang, Hiep Duc... In the city, many areas were flooded in low-lying areas along rivers and urban areas.

In particular, many communes were heavily flooded such as: Que Phuoc, Nong Son, Duy Xuyen, Thu Bon, Xuan Phu, Thanh My, Thuong Duc, Ha Nha, Phu Thuan, Vu Gia, Dai Loc, Go Noi, Dien Ban Tay, Dien Ban Bac, Hoa Tien...
