Flexible bronchoscopy is a technique of inserting a flexible endoscope into the airways to search for and evaluate lesions in the bronchi and lungs. The implementation of flexible bronchoscopy is a great step forward, applied to diagnose lung tumors, mediastinal tumors, interstitial lung disease, opportunistic infections, lung fungus, pulmonary tuberculosis, bronchopulmonary tuberculosis, tracheal stenosis after intubation, tracheostomy, tracheobronchial fistula due to abscess, tuberculosis... In addition, this technique is also used to remove foreign objects, aspirate blood and pus from the bronchi, biopsy to find foreign cells, and take samples for X-Pert testing in cases of negative tuberculosis.
