Bernardo Silva and Man City commit
Mundo Deportivo revealed that Bernardo Silva has inserted a "Barca clause" into his new contract with Man City.
The 'Barca clause' is believed to be worth £50m, allowing the Portuguese midfielder to move to the Nou Camp.
Bernardo Silva was set to join the Catalan club this summer, but Pep Guardiola has once again managed to convince the midfielder to stay at Man City for at least one more season, agreeing to extend his contract until the summer of 2026 last month.
The 29-year-old star has played at the Etihad since 2017, currently has 310 appearances in all competitions for Man City, scoring 55 goals and making 59 assists.
He was a vital link in Pep Guardiola's winning side, winning numerous trophies, including a stunning treble last season.

MU set the selling price for Jadon Sancho at 65 million pounds
According to Athletic , MU has offered to sell Jadon Sancho for £65 million to Saudi Pro League clubs in the summer transfer window.
However, the plan to "push" the star that they spent a lot of effort and 73 million pounds on in the summer of 2021 was unsuccessful. The reason is that Jadon Sancho refused to play football in the Middle Eastern country.
But the situation is different now after the winger publicly opposed coach Erik ten Hag. There is information that Sancho is looking to leave MU in January 2024 when the winter market opens after failing to find a solution after the conflict.
He could leave on loan for now before finally leaving the Red Devils next summer.
Jadon Sancho is a big disappointment for fans because he was expected a lot but never showed that he was worth the value that MU spent.

The striker who used to play for the French national team is about to join Ho Chi Minh City Club?
The above information was posted on L'Equipe . The prestigious French newspaper confirmed that Paul-Georges Ntep is about to make a "strange" turning point in his career by moving to Vietnam to play for Ho Chi Minh City Club. The contract is likely to be signed next week.
Paul-Georges Ntep was born and raised in Cameroon but moved to France at the age of 8. The striker grew up in Auxerre, then played for many other clubs such as Rennes, Wolfsburg, St Etienne, Kayserispor, Guingamp and Boavista.
Considered a promising talent, Paul-Georges Ntep has represented France at the youth level from U18 to U21. In 2015, the striker was called up to the French national team by coach Didier Deschamps. He then made his Les Bleus debut in a friendly against Belgium on June 7, 2015.
In 2018, Paul-Georges Ntep moved to the Cameroon national team, playing 4 matches with this team. The 31-year-old striker's most recent destination was Boavista (2021/22 season).
Paul-Georges Ntep was once valued at 10 million Euros (in 2015). But currently, this striker is only valued at around 250,000 Euros.
Although he is no longer in top form, he is still considered a promising addition to the Ho Chi Minh City Club's attack, especially since the team has said goodbye to Hoang Vu Samson, Daniel Green and Victor Mansaray.
In the V-League last season, Ho Chi Minh City FC finished second to last. Therefore, this team has determined to reform for the 2023/24 season.
Before negotiating to recruit Ntep, Ho Chi Minh City Club already had the signature of Vietnamese-American midfielder Pierre Lamothe, whose father is Canadian and mother is Vietnamese.
Juventus are considering buying Thomas Partey from Arsenal to replace Paul Pogba. (Source: Daily Mail) |
Juventus looking for player to replace Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba has been suspended by the anti-doping agency after testosterone was detected in his system. The banned substance was detected in the former MU star's system after the Juventus vs Udinese match.
Pogba had three days to respond to the anti-doping agency's allegations, but he issued a statement through his agent Rafaela Pimenta. She said: "We are waiting for the results of the rebuttal analysis and until then we cannot say anything. What is certain is that Pogba never wanted to break the rules."
As for Pogba and the club, the French midfielder has admitted to Juventus that he used testosterone without knowing it. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport , the Bianconeri will likely terminate Pogba's contract if the 30-year-old star's second test results are still positive.
If found guilty, Pogba could face a four-year ban. Juventus are seriously considering a replacement for the 2018 World Cup winner. According to La Repubblica , the Turin club consider Arsenal's Thomas Partey as an ideal replacement for Pogba.
Juventus were interested in signing Partey last summer but failed to reach an agreement with Arsenal. The Gunners wanted to keep Partey because Granit Xhaka was leaving, while they had to compete on many fronts. Despite injuries, the Ghana international has proven to be a key player in Arteta's squad.
Partey's versatility is a factor that "attracts" Juventus. Although he is a central midfielder, the former Atletico Madrid star can play well at right-back or center-back.
Partey is currently nursing a hamstring injury that forced him to withdraw from Ghana's September training camp.
