Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance grasps and resolves difficulties for grassroots units

On July 25, Director of Lam Dong Social Insurance Department Dang Hong Tuan led a working delegation to work with 7 grassroots social insurance units including Duc An, Quang Khe, Tuy Duc, Krong No, Thuan An, Cu Jut, Kien Duc to grasp and remove difficulties for the units in the process of implementing insurance policies.

The delegation of Lam Dong Social Insurance visited heroes and martyrs at Dak Nong Martyrs Cemetery on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

Before going to work, the delegation of Lam Dong Social Insurance and local Social Insurance agencies laid wreaths and paid tribute to the heroes and martyrs resting at Dak Nong Martyrs Cemetery.

At the working session, the delegation listened to the units' summary reports on the results of the first 6 months of 2025, the direction of tasks for the last 6 months of the year, difficulties, problems, proposals, recommendations, and solutions for the coming time.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, grassroots social insurance units have carried out many propaganda activities, actively contributing to raising awareness and disseminating regulations and policies to all classes of people. 7 grassroots social insurance units coordinated with the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to organize 71 direct communication conferences on social insurance and health insurance policies, attracting 3,642 people to attend.

7 Social Insurance agencies at grassroots level have established a permanent working group to directly receive, guide, and resolve difficulties and problems arising in the process of reorganizing the apparatus and implementing the 2-level local government organization model in the field of social insurance at grassroots level. The units will develop social insurance and health insurance participants according to the effectiveness of the Social Insurance Law and Health Insurance Law from July 1, 2025.

In 6 months, the total number of people participating in compulsory social insurance was 34,202, reaching an average of 91.1% of the assigned plan; 12,348 people participating in voluntary social insurance, reaching an average of 44.03% of the assigned plan; 570,270 people participating in health insurance, reaching an average of 90.76% of the assigned plan...

The payment and management of beneficiaries of social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits through the postal system basically ensures full, correct, timely, safe payment and creates favorable conditions for beneficiaries. At the same time, continue to promote and encourage beneficiaries to receive social insurance and unemployment benefits through non-cash payment methods.

By the end of June, monthly pension and social insurance benefits reached 72.1%; one-time social insurance benefits reached 99.16%; unemployment benefits were 100%. The average number of people paying through personal accounts was 84.92%.

The working session of Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance with grassroots social insurance aims to strengthen the connection between the provincial and grassroots levels, listen directly to practical problems to provide timely and effective solutions, contributing to improving the quality of social security policy implementation in the locality.
