On June 25, according to a source from Thanh Nien reporter, Cai Nuoc District Police ( Ca Mau ) recently received a criminal complaint and are verifying and clarifying the case of Mr. HNTr (36 years old, residing in Cai Nuoc Town, Cai Nuoc District) accusing a group of people led by LVT (41 years old, residing in Bao Tron Hamlet, Dong Thoi Commune, Cai Nuoc District) of beating him up.
According to Mr. Tr., he had just returned to his hometown from working far away and had a conflict with Mr. LVT. "T.'s wife moved out to rent a separate room. Because T.'s wife and I had known each other before, T.'s wife asked me and D. to come to her house to move things to the boarding house. From then on, a conflict arose between T. and me," Mr. Tr. said.
According to Mr. Tr.'s petition, at noon on June 17, he and a person named D. hired a trailer to transport goods for Ms. N. (Mr. T.'s wife). Because Mr. T.'s house was on the other side of the river, Mr. Tr. stayed on this side of the river and did not go to her house. At that time, Mr. T. and his wife were arguing, and the local authorities were also present to resolve the matter. After moving the goods to the gathering place to put them on the vehicle, Mr. T. went to where Mr. Tr. was standing and did not allow the goods to be moved.
In the afternoon of the same day, a friend called Mr. Tr. saying that Mr. T. wanted to meet to talk about "right and wrong". "After that, I asked for T.'s phone number to call and agreed to go to the coffee shop to meet T. But when NQT (34 years old, living in Cai Nuoc town) and I arrived at the shop, T.'s group suddenly attacked and used pepper spray on my face and NQT. As a result, I had to be hospitalized for treatment," Mr. Tr. recounted.
According to Cai Nuoc District Police, Mr. T.'s group consisted of 6 people. Mr. Tr. was also taken for injury assessment and is awaiting results.
