Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang listened to units report on construction progress and call for investment.

According to the report, up to now, the Software Park No. 2 project has completed the rough construction. After the Government issued Decree No. 09/2024/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 144/2016/ND-CP dated November 1, 2016 of the Government stipulating a number of specific mechanisms on investment, finance, budget and decentralization of management for Da Nang city, the city's departments, branches and sectors have actively implemented related work, striving to put one of the three Icity buildings into use this year.

After listening to the units report on construction progress and call for investment, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang requested the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works in Da Nang to continue to speed up the investment implementation progress and complete the Software Park No. 2 project.

At the same time, the Department of Information and Communications is requested to quickly deploy work related to the establishment of a Project to exploit assets and information infrastructure as the Da Nang Software Park; specify policies to call for businesses to invest in Software Park No. 2. In particular, in addition to large enterprises, it is necessary to pay attention to innovative enterprises and semiconductor microchips, aiming to build a comprehensive and sustainable information ecosystem.
