BHG - In the atmosphere of celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring, welcoming the Lunar New Year 2025, on the morning of February 8, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Comrade Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister - Chairman of the Ethnic Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended the Flag Raising Ceremony at Lung Cu National Flagpole and launched the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" at the Northernmost point, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district.

Attending the Flag Raising Ceremony at Lung Cu National Flagpole, under the sacred national flag, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh and delegates sang the National Anthem, expressing national pride, love for the homeland and country; affirming that the Lung Cu National Flagpole has a particularly important strategic position - a place where the sacred souls of mountains and rivers converge, a fence of the Fatherland, a sacred symbol of national sovereignty ; every Vietnamese person always remembers and is grateful for the great contributions of the previous generations who sacrificed their blood and bones to gain independence for the nation, bringing a peaceful, prosperous and happy life to the people today.

Launching the Spring Tree Planting Festival of At Ty, Dong Van district planted 100 Sa Moc trees and 68 native Le trees - This is a practical work, aiming to concretize the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "For the benefit of ten years, we must plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, we must cultivate people" and his advice when visiting Ha Giang in 1961 "We must pay more attention to protecting forests and planting trees to create forests". The Tree Planting Festival in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district also aims to continue promoting the good tradition of the Tree Planting Festival of our nation, associated with the implementation of the Prime Minister's Program to plant 1 billion green trees.

At the launching ceremony, the leaders of Dong Van district called on communes, towns and all people to actively participate in planting trees and forests to improve the living environment, regulate the climate associated with the process of building new rural areas and developing tourism in the area; each organization and individual should raise their awareness of forest protection, prevent illegal logging, forest burning and exploitation, and encourage the development of forest economy.

The Station has focused on patrolling the border, maintaining border markers and national border sovereignty; ensuring national defense and security; coordinating with local Party committees, authorities and forces to provide a full Tet for the people.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: The year 2025 is of utmost importance to the country and Ha Giang province - the year the whole province is determined to strive to fully fulfill the targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, including the task of national defense and security, preparing for a new period of development of the country, an era of prosperity and happiness for the nation.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested: Lung Cu Border Guard Station continue to perform well the unit's political tasks, especially thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Central's directives and resolutions, and the Border Guard Command's viewpoints and resolutions on national defense and security tasks in the new period, maintain border lines, landmarks, and rural order and safety, and avoid being passive or surprised; closely coordinate with local Party committees, authorities and forces to actively mobilize and guide people to participate in labor production and poverty reduction; promote the results achieved in recent years, and continue to effectively implement the "Border Guard Adopted Children" model.
