Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Thi Thuy Lan periodically receives citizens in January 2024

On January 29, at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office, Comrade Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation periodically received citizens in January 2024.

Also attending were comrades: Ha Quang Tien, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Vu Chi Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and departments, branches and sectors of the province.

According to the report of the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee, from April 2019 to present, the whole province has had 119 cases that were directed by the Provincial Party Secretary to be resolved through citizen reception sessions. Up to now, relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities have resolved 116/119 cases, of which 24 cases are under the jurisdiction of the provincial level, 22/24 cases have been resolved; 95 cases are under the jurisdiction of the district level, 94/95 cases have been resolved; the remaining 3 cases are continuing to be considered for resolution according to their jurisdiction.

The reported cases that have been resolved are resolved by departments, branches, sectors and localities in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law. Specifically, conclusions have been issued for denunciation cases; decisions on complaints and written responses to citizens for requests and reflections...

Speaking at the citizen reception, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Thi Thuy Lan requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to continue to focus on reviewing cases that the Provincial Party Secretary has concluded, assigned to preside over, and coordinate to resolve in order to urge, monitor and supervise the resolution process, especially cases with implementation timelines in the conclusions.

Departments, branches and sectors focus on analyzing and reviewing complicated cases, clearly understanding the nature of the cases to have correct and accurate advice in the settlement process, especially cases related to the fields of land, environment, etc. Thereby, gradually improving leadership capacity, direction and administration and effectiveness of state management.

To create changes in the work of receiving citizens and handling complaints, denunciations, reflections and recommendations from citizens, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Thi Thuy Lan requested the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to proactively coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee and related departments, branches, sectors and localities to focus on resolving outstanding complaints and denunciations in accordance with the provisions of law...

It is forecasted that the situation of complaints and denunciations in the province in the coming time will still have many potential complications, especially complaints and denunciations related to the fields of land management, basic construction investment, resource and mineral exploitation... Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Thi Thuy Lan requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to strengthen the implementation of positive solutions to improve the effectiveness of citizen reception and settlement of complaints and denunciations of citizens right at the grassroots level, ensuring compliance with the procedures and regulations of the law to create consensus among the people. Thereby, minimizing the number of people complaining and denunciations in large numbers, bypassing the authorities.
