Provincial Party Secretary meets voters in Kon Plong district

(kontumtv.vn) – On June 12, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Duong Van Trang and the delegation of the Provincial People's Council met with voters in Hieu and Mang Canh communes, Kon Plong district before the 9th session of the 12th Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, voters of Hieu commune proposed that some households at Dong Truong Son intersection have settled for a long time but have not yet obtained land use right certificates, requesting authorities at all levels to pay attention and resolve the issue so that households can settle down with peace of mind; pay attention and support the granting of land for production to people; soon invest in and upgrade National Highway 24, the section from Hieu commune, Kon Plong district to Quang Ngai province to facilitate people's travel and transportation of goods.

Mang Canh commune voters recommend that authorities at all levels thoroughly handle the waste dumps on Provincial Road 676 because during the rainy season, sand and soil from the waste dumps bury people's production land; invest in upgrading and expanding the internal roads of Kon Chênh village to facilitate people's travel; pay attention to and resolve the issuance of land use right certificates to some households in Kon Chênh village so that people can settle down with peace of mind; request authorities at all levels to strengthen patrolling and forest protection to avoid deforestation for slash-and-burn farming; pay benefits to people participating in forest management and protection in a timely and proper manner; and thoroughly carry out compensation for households whose residential and production land areas are affected by the construction of Provincial Road 676.

The opinions and recommendations of voters were discussed and clarified by the government leaders and the provincial People's Council delegates at the meeting. The opinions that are not within the authority of the provincial People's Council delegation will be compiled and transferred to the relevant agencies for consideration and resolution and will be responded to by voters in the coming time.

On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Duong Van Trang presented gifts to the authorities of Hieu and Mang Canh communes./.
