On May 8, Comrade Tran Hong Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, led the delegation to visit and work at Bach Dang Hydropower Plant, Bach Dang Commune (Hoa An). Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, a number of departments, branches and Hoa An District.
Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh and the working delegation inspected the management and operation work and listened to reports on the production situation of Bach Dang Hydropower Plant in recent times.
Bach Dang Hydropower Plant was invested and built by Thang Long Hydropower Construction Group Joint Stock Company in Hoa An district, with a total investment of 217 billion VND, started construction in 2016, completed and put into operation in 2021, creating jobs for more than 20 officers and workers. Accordingly, the plant's electricity output provides an average of nearly 17 million kWh of electricity to the national power system, contributing over 12 billion VND to the state budget to date.
At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh praised and acknowledged the efforts and struggles to overcome difficulties of all cadres and employees of the factory in the past time to manage and operate safely and continuously, promote economic efficiency, ensure sufficient power supply for the country, contribute significantly to the industrialization and modernization of the country, ensure social security, reduce poverty, and increase budget revenue for the province.
Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh visited and encouraged cadres and workers to ensure safe operation of the factory and ensure good security and order, thereby helping the factory operate safely and stably to continue to be a unit contributing a large source of budget revenue to the economic development of the country in general and the province in particular. He requested the factory to strictly implement safety regulations, environmental protection regulations, and care for the lives of workers.
We hope that the Board of Directors and all staff and workers of the factory will continue to promote the achievements, step up scientific and technical research, master modern technological lines, manage and operate the factory safely and continuously, and promote the economic efficiency of the hydropower plant in the coming time.
On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Hong Minh and the delegation presented more than 20 gifts to officers and employees of Bach Dang Hydropower Plant.
