Quang Dung's 400 m2 Japanese-style villa

Every year, the singer hosts several parties to welcome friends and relatives. Artist couple Cam Van and Khac Trieu (sitting on the right) are Quang Dung's neighbors.

Quang Dũng, whose real name is Thái Văn Dũng, is from Quy Nhơn, Bình Định. In 1997, he participated in the Bình Định Television Singing Contest and won second prize. In 1998, Quang Dũng was chosen by the Provincial Department of Culture to represent the province at the Central and Central Highlands Provinces' Best Voice Singing Contest in Huế and won a gold medal. Afterwards, he moved to Ho Chi Minh City to sing in tea rooms, becoming famous for his deep, resonant voice and elegant style. Besides singing, the artist also acted in the second part of the film "Gái nhảy" (Dancing Girls) directed by Quang Dũng. He married Miss Vietnam Jennifer Phạm and had a son, Bảo Nam, in 2008, but divorced a year later.
