Big Tech companies like Meta, Apple, and Google are expected to release many new, exciting products and services in 2025.
Meta
According to the Financial Times , Meta will add a display inside its Ray-Ban smart glasses, available in an update as early as the second half of 2025. The display can display notifications and responses from Meta's chatbot.
In a blog post this month, Andrew Bosworth, Meta’s CTO and head of Reality Labs, said that by 2025, personalized AI assistants will not only respond to prompts but also assist users throughout the day. One of the things he’s most excited about next year is AI assistants.
Apple
Apple plans to release a "more personal" Siri, but it's unclear whether that will come next year or in 2026. Apple is said to announce "LLM Siri" in 2025.
According to Bloomberg , the iPhone maker could also introduce a smart home device as early as March 2025. It could be a wall-mounted tablet that can be used to control appliances, manage video calls, and use AI to access apps.
The tech giant is also set to unveil the iPhone "Air" and a new version of the iPhone SE. The new iPhone SE ditches the home button and is expected to support Apple Intelligence.
In partnership with Samsung and Qualcomm, Google will release the Android XR spatial computing platform.
The company said the first device, built by Samsung and codenamed Project Moohan, will be available next year. It will offer a typical mixed reality experience and integrate the Gemini chatbot.
According to Google, with Gemini, users can chat about what they are seeing or control their devices. Gemini will understand users' intentions, help them plan, research topics, and guide them through tasks.
