Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Thuy said: In recent years, the Special Forces have done a good job of ensuring logistics standards for active soldiers, workers and defense officials according to Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP.

The Corps has ensured the correct and sufficient standards and food quantities for the subjects according to the Decree, Circular, and Instructions of the Ministry of National Defense . Proactively creating a stable and good quality food source; focusing on improving the quality of cooking, ensuring stable meal quality, ensuring food hygiene and safety.

The infrastructure system and barracks have been invested in basic construction, the landscape and environment are spacious, clean and beautiful. Carry out well the work of estimating, creating sources, receiving military uniforms according to principles and procedures; carry out preservation and distribution according to plans, standards and regimes to each subject; basically meet the requirements of the unit's tasks in regular as well as combat training. Strictly manage the quantity, quality and types of military uniforms, avoid damage or loss. Regularly do a good job of managing and taking care of soldiers' health, the rate of healthy soldiers is regularly over 99%.

The asset and financial management mechanism has been improved and tightened, creating a legal basis for management work, ensuring logistics material standards; the level and capacity of management, operation and task performance of the logistics staff of the Corps have had positive changes, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The Deputy Commander of the Special Forces requested that in the coming time, the Special Forces continue to review, update, adjust, supplement and perfect logistics standards and norms according to Decree No. 76/2016/ND-CP and current legal documents on logistics material standards.

Focus on directing to ensure meals for subjects in accordance with standards and food quantities as prescribed. Improve the quality of menu development, actively research, improve, and prepare dishes. Do a good job of estimating, creating sources, receiving and ensuring full and timely standards of military uniforms for subjects as prescribed; strictly maintain the inventory and inspection regime of military uniforms at each level, and use military uniforms for the right purposes.

Direct the implementation of improving the quality of management, care, and protection of soldiers' health. Improve the quality of forecasting and monitoring to proactively prevent and control epidemics, not allowing them to arise and spread into the unit. Continue to consolidate and build professional working order and regimes; improve the quality of medical examination and treatment at military medical levels.

Use funds, drugs, equipment, and military medical supplies reasonably, with focus and key points, prioritizing combat readiness, training, and first aid tasks. Manage and exploit drugs, equipment, and military medical supplies effectively, avoiding damage and waste, and having a roadmap for supplementing equipment in each phase.

Continue to review and complete the master plan of the barracks. Focus on investing in new construction, renovation and upgrading of essential barracks works: Housing, office buildings, dining halls, kitchens, technical works. Implement well the policy of saving electricity and water according to the regulations of the Government , the Ministry of National Defense and the Army; ensure sufficient electricity and water quotas for subjects according to regulations; have a mechanism to encourage the use of renewable energy (solar power, recirculating water filtration systems) to reduce costs and be environmentally friendly.
