On August 16, at Na Mo reservoir, Vo Ngai commune, Binh Lieu district, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the province coordinated with Binh Lieu district and the Quang Ninh Fisheries Association to organize a program to release fish fry to restore aquatic resources.
At the ceremony, delegates released nearly 60,000 freshwater aquatic fish fry including: bighead carp, silver carp, common carp, grass carp, black carp, bighead carp, and tilapia into Na Mo reservoir, Vo Ngai commune.

At the same time, it promotes and raises awareness and perception of regenerating, protecting and developing aquatic resources.

From 2019 to 2023, the province released more than 36.4 million aquatic seeds into the natural environment to supplement, regenerate and develop natural resources; in the first 7 months of 2024 alone, more than 6.9 million aquatic seeds of various types such as shrimp, marine fish and freshwater fish were released.
