The Humanitarian Month was launched by the Vietnam Red Cross Society in 2018 and has become an annual activity of profound humanitarian significance, contributing to the strong spread of humanitarian values, love and sharing in the community. In 2025, the Humanitarian Month will take place from March 1 to May 31, with the peak from May 8 (International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day) to May 19 (the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh - the founder and first honorary president of the Vietnam Red Cross Society).

With the theme "Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love", this year's Humanitarian Month continues to emphasize the continuity of humanitarian activities as a series of humanitarian works that are maintained and developed, a journey connecting compassionate hearts, creating a large network of support and sharing, bringing people together. In Binh Phuoc , up to this point, the Red Cross Association at all levels in the province has mobilized support and care for nearly 8,000 people, with an amount of 4.7 billion VND; registered to mobilize individuals, organizations, and philanthropists to respond to Humanitarian Month 2025 with an amount of over 7.6 billion VND.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh emphasized that over the years, the Provincial Red Cross Society has made many positive contributions to charity and humanitarian work, creating a strong spread, attracting a large number of cadres, members and people from all walks of life to participate. This is demonstrated through movements and campaigns such as: Campaign "each organization and individual is associated with a humanitarian address", "zero-dong kitchen", voluntary blood donation, building Red Cross houses, etc.
Red Cross Societies of districts, towns and cities registered to mobilize resources to implement Humanitarian Month in 2025 with a total amount of over 7.6 billion VND.
Individuals, organizations, and philanthropists support Humanitarian Month 2025 to share with people in difficult circumstances.
At today's launching ceremony, the provincial Red Cross Society also mobilized Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center and other units to support 300 medical examinations, give 200 gifts, and 1 Red Cross house with a total value of 200 million VND to people in Dong Phu district. This is considered a noble gesture, arousing the love of each person, multiplying kind actions, building a united community, full of compassion.
In order for the 2025 Humanitarian Month to create a stronger impact, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh requested local Party committees and authorities to strengthen their direction; agencies, departments, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations, and mass organizations to coordinate more closely with the Red Cross to implement practical and appropriate activities. At the same time, she called on businesses, philanthropists, volunteers and all people to actively participate in humanitarian activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of humanity and building a united and developed community.
Representative of Cho Ray Hospital Blood Transfusion Center presented a meaningful gift from the sponsor, a Red Cross house, to Mr. Le Van Ly's family residing in Tan An quarter, Tan Phu town, Dong Phu district.
This morning, it rained heavily but many people were still excited to receive small gifts filled with love from benefactors.
