Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp is a 3D animated film inspired by the famous literary work The Adventures of Cricket by writer To Hoai. The film revolves around two brothers, Cricket Men and Cricket Trui, and their adventure to the Swamp - an area that used to be a lush green field, now turned into a garbage dump. Here, they meet many new species of insects and face many challenges, fierce battles from the dark plot of Frog Com, in order to protect the peace of the insect community.

The film uses 3D animation technology to recreate the world of insects vividly and realistically, and has many scenes imbued with Vietnamese culture. Music is also a highlight of the film, combining modern musicals with folk materials, bringing a fresh and familiar atmosphere to young audiences.

From the pages of the book by writer To Hoai, through the first drawings of the director - People's Artist Ngo Manh Lan, until today - De Men continues its new journey in a modern, close, and lively animated form, accompanying Vietnamese children on the path towards the future.

At the film premiere, the production crew paid their deepest gratitude to the late writer To Hoai and People's Artist Ngo Manh Lan. People's Artist Ngo Manh Lan is considered the "father of the animated De Men", who brought this character from the pages of literature to the screen in 1989. From the footage made with traditional techniques to the modern image of De Men today is a journey of tireless, creative and dedicated artistic labor.

The film's young director Mai Phuong said: "We grew up with De Men, and now we have the opportunity to continue that journey with the technology and language of the new era. This is how our young generation expresses gratitude to those who came before, and continues to inspire children today."
