"Opening my eyes and seeing "Blue Zones" mentioned on the internet and in newspapers, seeing the blue color "Blue Zones" everywhere on the street, seeing "Blue Zones" stickers on cars,... are the shares of many netizens these days. Many people even feel "out of date" because they see "Blue Zones" mentioned everywhere but don't know the meaning.
It is known that the concept of Blue Zone is the result of a demographic study conducted by Gianni Pes and Michel Poulain, published in 2004. They identified the Nuoro province of Sardinia (Italy) as the area with the highest density of centenarian men and called this area the Blue Zone.
Based on this research, Dan Buettner - American explorer, journalist, author of many famous articles in the New York Times proposed 4 more locations: Okinawa (Japan), Nicoya (Costa Rica), Icaria (Greece) and Loma Linda (California, USA).
These areas have a clean environment and beautiful nature thanks to human protection. The Blue Zone also has many trees and streams; it is also a place where people live long and healthy lives with few diseases.
In Vietnam, Blue Zones are mentioned by many people, especially young people, with the meaning of wanting to bring each other to a green, beautiful land to change their lifestyle, wishing to live healthy, youthful, less sick, and to relax every day in the middle of nature. From this desire, many people also tell each other "Don't bring each other to Friend Zones" but "bring each other to Blue Zones".
Currently, the "Blue Zones" trend is still flooding social networks, leading to the trend of "inviting each other to the land of "Blue Zones" stirring up millions of user accounts.
It is known that the first Blue Zones land in Vietnam is gradually appearing. According to the netizen community, this land is located in the East of Ho Chi Minh City. That may be the reason why these days, Saigon signs are everywhere with the color Blue Zones.
