A special collection of 20 representative publications from Nha Nam:

A limited edition book set marking the 20th anniversary of Nha Nam Culture and Communication Joint Stock Company (Nha Nam), comprising 20 representative books, was launched on November 6th in Hanoi.

From "Dang Thuy Tram's Diary"—a book with half a million copies printed in 2005—to the present day, Nha Nam has published over 20 million books, averaging 200 new titles each year. Through this, it has contributed to spreading knowledge and inspiring learning and creativity in work and life for readers of all backgrounds across the country.

Nha Nam has also become a partner of dozens of publishing houses, distributors, and many domestic and international cultural and educational organizations. Hundreds of Vietnamese authors and nearly 100 authors who have won Nobel, Goncourt, Renaudot, Man Booker, Pulitzer, and Akutagawa prizes have also been introduced to Vietnamese readers by Nha Nam.

This limited edition book set, commemorating Nha Nam's 20th anniversary, includes 20 representative works, selected from tens of thousands of titles ever published.

Speaking at the book launch, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Anh, General Director of Nha Nam Culture and Communication Joint Stock Company, shared that each book published over the past 20 years is a philosophical language, meticulously crafted by the publishers with the hope of sharing and resonating with readers. Mr. Nguyen Nhat Anh stated that Nha Nam is fortunate to have accompanied and contributed to the transformation of the country during a period of deep integration, where readers and writers are open-minded and eager to spread beauty and novelty in life through the pages of books.

Each work in the commemorative publication was carefully selected based on criteria such as its intellectual and spiritual value; its broad readership; its representativeness of each genre; and its prominent role in each stage of Nha Nam's development. The collection is a microcosm of Nha Nam's 20 years in the publishing industry, from its initial goal of promoting and bringing Vietnamese and international literature closer to the public, to expanding into various book genres such as history, culture, philosophy, psychology, economics, management, business, science and technology, geopolitics , and art history.

All 20 titles feature matching hardcovers with gold foil stamping. Each title is released in a limited edition of 1,000 numbered copies, bearing the Nha Nam 20th anniversary seal and numbered sequentially from 1 to 999, making each book a unique collector's item.

Regarding this special edition, poet Nguyen Quang Thieu, President of the Vietnam Writers Association, expressed that the 20-volume set is like a DNA sequence establishing Nha Nam's ideology, viewpoints, aesthetics, and aspirations for books. Like other books published by Nha Nam, this set equips readers with fundamental knowledge about education, aesthetics, philosophy, religion, literature, and many other topics. "Nha Nam, with its approach, has contributed to promoting the development of book publishing and reading in Vietnam," poet Nguyen Quang Thieu stated.

Speaking at the book launch, Nguyen Nguyen, Director of the Publishing, Printing and Distribution Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), praised Nha Nam for its persistent and sophisticated approach in bringing knowledge to readers. Through each book, readers are gradually introduced to new values, leading many to return to their reading habits. Nha Nam is a prime example of a private enterprise dedicated to culture, harmoniously connecting business with aesthetics and culture. This connection creates a unique and commendable beauty.

Looking ahead, according to Mr. Nguyen Nguyen, Nha Nam needs to continue promoting digital transformation, expanding its approach to readers on digital platforms, while still maintaining the creative spirit and content quality that have built its brand.
