Preliminary statistics show that in Mang Ri and Ngoc Linh communes, 37 houses and granaries were damaged; Tu Mo Rong commune had 9 houses; the most serious was Dak Sao commune with about 100 houses having their roofs blown off or having landslides. In this situation, on the morning of November 7, localities mobilized forces to help people repair their houses with a spirit of urgency, soon stabilizing their lives.

In Dak Sao commune, since early morning of the same day, wind and heavy rain have damaged about 100 houses. When the incident occurred, the commune authorities evacuated households from the danger zone. This morning, the commune People's Committee mobilized more than 100 officers from the police force, militia, and security team to go to 17 villages to help people repair their houses.


Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Vice Chairman of Dak Sao Commune People's Committee, said that due to the large number of damaged houses, the locality has mobilized all forces to participate in support. In the immediate future, the commune will provide funds to buy corrugated iron and nails to help people repair their roofs, striving to complete them soon so that people can stabilize their lives.

In Tu Mo Rong commune, Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, directly went to the affected households to inspect, encourage and direct the local forces to support the people in repairing their houses. Implementing this direction, the commune officials went to each village, together with the people, to rebuild the damaged roofs, helping the people to quickly overcome the damage and stabilize their lives.
