On the morning of November 7, the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organized a ceremony to award Party badges on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (on November 7). Attending the ceremony was Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
This time, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee has 32 party members awarded the Party Badge. Of which, 1 party member received the 50-year Party Membership Badge, 3 party members received the 45-year Party Membership Badge, 2 party members received the 40-year Party Membership Badge and 26 party members received the 30-year Party Membership Badge.
Speaking to review the tradition, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee Tran Van Nam emphasized that the October Revolution in Russia (November 7, 1917 - November 7, 2025) was a great milestone that changed the course of human history.
The event opened a new era for mankind, an era in which the ideals of class liberation, national liberation and human liberation became reality, marking the birth of the first socialist state in the world .
The October Revolution spread strongly, encouraging the global revolutionary movement, including the Vietnamese revolution. From there, President Ho Chi Minh found the right path to save our nation - the path of national independence associated with socialism.
The Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Party Committee said that the Party badge is a noble and sacred reward for Party members who have a process of training, striving, and exemplary, persistent dedication.
The Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee acknowledges and is deeply grateful for the great contributions of the party members receiving the badges, and hopes that the party members will continue to promote their pioneering spirit and be a shining example for the younger generation of cadres and party members to follow.
Mr. Nam added that after the merger, the organization's scale, number of cadres and party members increased, functions and tasks expanded, and the tasks required were higher and more complex.
