In 2025, candidates had 13 days (from July 16 to July 28) to register for admission and adjust their university admission wishes on the common admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training .
In fact, there are candidates who have registered for dozens of wishes. Candidate D. in Ho Chi Minh City shared: "I took the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test and got more than 900 points. Referring to the benchmark scores of previous years in this method, I thought I would definitely be admitted to the major and school I wanted.
However, when the schools announced the percentiles for the admission scores between the admission methods, I was really worried, because my high school graduation exam scores were not high. Therefore, I registered nearly 30 wishes for many majors, at different schools, with the hope of passing the university entrance exam in the major I wanted."
Now, reading the list of wishes registered on the system, D. realized that many of the majors he chose were not really his favorite, so he felt like he had chosen "too much".
"The registration fee is over 400,000 VND for the total number of wishes, I think it's a waste of money. Now I want to remove some wishes to save on fees, is that okay?", this candidate wondered.
Meanwhile, candidate TK in Khanh Hoa said that he had previously registered for admission, submitted documents proving separate admission methods at some universities and had already paid the fees.
"So, for the wishes that have been registered and paid for at universities, when re-registering on the common system, do I have to pay the fee again? Is it true that along with the fee when registering wishes on the common system of the ministry, an admission method, candidates have to pay the fee twice?", candidate K. wondered.
Fees must be paid according to the number of wishes confirmed on the system.
Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), said that according to regulations, candidates must pay admission fees according to the number of wishes registered on the system online.
"All candidates' wishes that have been registered for admission on the system, regardless of the admission method, must pay a fee (15,000 VND/wish - PV). Registration and adjustment of wishes can only be done from July 16 to July 28.
Currently, the function of adjusting wishes on the system is closed, so candidates are not allowed to remove any registered wishes," Mr. Hung added.
When paying the application fee, the system will display 19 payment channels and the amount the candidate needs to pay (determined according to the selected wishes) in the Payment Value section. Candidates choose one of the 19 payment channels to pay the application fee.
In case candidates do not see the "Payment" button at the application registration interface, it means that the time is not within the payment fee payment period or is being temporarily hidden to prevent congestion in the payment system.
When the wish shows the status Recorded - NV has been paid, the process is completed (if the wish status has not been recorded, press Ctrl + F5 to Refresh the screen).
If candidates have not paid the full fee on the system, their wishes will not be recorded.
