A passenger ship brought a miraculous survivor from Ly Son to the mainland for treatment.

At 2:20 p.m. on November 9, the An Vinh Express passenger ship carrying Mr. Duong Quang Cuong (44 years old, resident of Tay An Vinh village, Ly Son special zone), one of three victims who miraculously survived after two days drifting at sea, arrived at Sa Ky port (Dong Son commune, Quang Ngai ) to continue treatment at the hospital.

According to Tuoi Tre Online, on the same afternoon, the An Vinh Express passenger ship from Ly Son special zone carrying Mr. Cuong and many passengers docked at Sa Ky port.

Then people used a stretcher to put him on an ambulance and took him to Quang Ngai General Hospital for further treatment.

Mr. Duong Quang Quyen (Mr. Cuong's father) said that his son was previously saved and taken to the Ly Son Military-Civilian Medical Center for treatment and health monitoring.

To this day, Mr. Cuong is still very tired due to the long time drifting at sea. Therefore, he was brought to the mainland by the authorities and his family to Quang Ngai General Hospital for further treatment.

As reported by Tuoi Tre Online , at around 3:00 p.m. on November 6, Mr. Duong Quang Cuong went to Tay An Vinh wharf area (Ly Son special zone) and suddenly jumped into the sea.

Seeing that, two local people, Mr. Phan Duy Quang (47 years old) and Mr. Le Van Sanh (37 years old) immediately rowed a boat to rescue. Although the waves were very big due to the influence of storm No. 13, it could not stop the chivalrous spirit of Mr. Quang and Mr. Sanh.

When Mr. Cuong was rescued, the wind and waves increased, the boat was drifted far from shore and disappeared.

Immediately, authorities and people mobilized boats and helicopters to search, but all three were still missing.

It was not until 7:10 a.m. on November 8 that the cargo ship Hainan 39, traveling from Vinh Tan (Lam Dong province) to Son Duong (Ha Tinh province), when it reached a location in Gia Lai province's waters, discovered and rescued Mr. Quang while he was struggling in the middle of the sea.

At 4:10 p.m. the same day, at a location 56 nautical miles southeast of Ly Son Island, the An Vinh Express ship discovered and rescued Mr. Le Van Sanh.

Next, on the evening of November 8, the last person, Mr. Duong Quang Cuong, was discovered and rescued by fishing boat QB 92198 TS.

All three were then taken to the Ly Son Military-Civilian Medical Center for treatment and health monitoring.
