Ministry of Public Security aims to digitize data on natural disasters and charity

The above content was raised by Mr. Do Van Chien during the working session between the Delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and the Ministry of Public Security on the Project on digital transformation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2035, which took place on the afternoon of April 11.

According to the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, one of the very important tasks of this agency at present is to implement the policies of the Party and State, together with Party committees and authorities at all levels, to care for and ensure social security for the people.

To perform these tasks well, the Vietnam Fatherland Front hopes that the Ministry of Public Security will help and support the implementation of digital transformation and the construction of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's database.

Thereby, helping the Fatherland Front to carry out its assigned political tasks effectively and economically. The focus is on building a database of member organizations with 11 social classes, of which the peasant class accounts for more than 66.97% of the national population.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also requested that the National Population Data Center under Department C06 have applications to update voters' opinions nationwide on what they want on major national issues.

"With social security, we can grasp the number of poor people and update changes caused by natural disasters to promptly support people," Mr. Chien expressed and affirmed that digitalizing data will ensure transparency in charity work.

In the immediate future, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requests the Ministry of Public Security to help develop the Vietnam Fatherland Front's digital transformation project, and at the same time organize training and guidance for the Vietnam Fatherland Front's staff during the operation process.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that, according to the direction of the Prime Minister , departments, branches, unions and all levels have tasks in Project 06 and benefit from the achievements of this project, including the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc noted that the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to have a legal basis and technological infrastructure to digitize data and information fields of the industry.

During the operation process, it is necessary to ensure information security and prevent data information from being disseminated. In addition, the Fatherland Front needs data experts, security, technology infrastructure and maintenance budget to achieve high efficiency in digital transformation.
