Bo Trach: Xuan Son Bridge Jumping Victim Found

(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of June 2, information from Phong Nha Town People's Committee said that after many hours of searching, local authorities coordinated with functional forces and people to find the victim who jumped off Xuan Son bridge.

Previously, at around 10:30 p.m. on June 1, Phong Nha Town People's Committee received a report of a suspected jump from Xuan Son Bridge. The subject's name is CPD, from Cu Lac 2 residential group, Phong Nha Town (born in 1998), son of Mr. CVD (born in 1963), Mrs. NTT (born in 1968).

The victim was found about 100m from Xuan Son bridge, towards Hung Trach commune (Bo Trach).

Immediately afterwards, the town mobilized police forces, militia, search and rescue vehicles, tourist transport boats, and canoes from the Son River Rescue Company, in coordination with the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) to conduct a search on the Son River.

At around 3:15 p.m. on June 2, the victim was found by the authorities and local people on the Son River, about 100 meters from Xuan Son Bridge, heading towards Hung Trach Commune (Bo Trach). Currently, the authorities are carrying out the procedures in accordance with the law to hand over the victim's body to the family.
