The Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said it has just proposed to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to arrange civil servants, public employees, and workers to work simultaneously at the administrative headquarters of Binh Thuan province (Phan Thiet city), Dak Nong (Gia Nghia city) and at the administrative - political center of the new Lam Dong province (Da Lat city) for 12 months after the merger.

The number is the team of civil servants, public employees not holding management positions and employees working at the old headquarters.
According to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, after the merger, Lam Dong province will have the largest area in the country (24,000 km2 ), with many mountainous terrains, and difficult transportation (many passes and slopes), while the conditions for information technology infrastructure and digital transformation of the 3 current Departments of Construction have not been invested in to ensure the conditions for performing tasks online and remotely 100%.
Arranging civil servants, public employees, and workers to work at the old headquarters will save costs, stabilize the organization during the transition period, and at the same time take advantage of existing facilities, reduce travel and accommodation costs, and resolve backlogs during the time of arranging the new apparatus.

In addition, the fields under the Department of Construction have specific tasks in the fields of construction, infrastructure management, transportation management, traffic safety, etc. and must work directly at the site and in areas related to the work.
As reported by SGGP Newspaper, previously, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee had planned to review facilities to arrange accommodation and work for about 80% of the number of officials (out of a total of more than 5,900 people after the merger) from Binh Thuan and Dak Nong to Da Lat City.
