Using camera traps, scientists and rangers have discovered many types of monkeys, muntjacs, mountain goats, striped rabbits, civets, etc. Does this mean that species listed in the Red Book can now roam freely?

- Not yet. Because the safety of wild birds and animals is only guaranteed when there is no more illegal hunting. But in reality, even though it has decreased, hunting is still rampant. There are still markets online that sell captive birds and animals or already slaughtered birds.

- So what is the change in community psychology?

- Because the law stipulates and strictly handles violations, many people are afraid. The majority of residents, especially young people, consider eating wild birds and animals uncivilized. In localities across the country, the government has taken much stronger measures to prevent illegal hunting. When people and the government work together, the living environment will improve.

- The way of thinking “let’s go and clear the wild forest” has wiped out so much forest area. Along with that, many species of birds and animals have disappeared. No matter how they are regenerated, the loss is permanent. With strict laws, lifestyles will change. Ecological balance can only be achieved when people respect the natural existence of many species, to live together in harmony.
