Visiting and celebrating the longevity of Mr. Huynh Van Cong (born in 1935, residing in Hung Phu ward), Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung kindly asked about the health and daily life of the old man and his family. Mr. Huynh Van Cong is a member of the ward's Elderly Association, has made many contributions to local activities; he himself is always exemplary in complying with and mobilizing his family members and surrounding people to comply well with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws.
The delegation also visited and celebrated the longevity of Mr. Ngo Ho (born in 1935, residing in Xom Cui ward). Mr. Ngo Ho is an elderly person receiving social protection in the locality. When he was still able to work, he worked as a freelancer, earning a living to support his family, and actively participating in local movements.
At each destination, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung kindly asked about the health and life of the elderly men. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung expressed his gratitude for their contributions to the development of Ho Chi Minh City, and encouraged them to live happily and healthily, continuing to pass on the torch to the next generation.
On the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Elderly, Ho Chi Minh City organized many delegations to visit and celebrate the longevity of outstanding elderly people.
