To overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, reporting to the Government and Prime Minister , Minister Nguyen Hong Dien said:

Immediately afterwards, the Ministry promptly sent working delegations of the Ministry's functional agencies and the leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group to Quang Ninh and Hai Phong to directly direct the implementation of overcoming the consequences caused by storm No. 3.

Second , focus on directing power sector units to urgently fix problems, restore the damaged power system as quickly as possible, and have technical backup plans to maintain the stability of the power dispatch system when problems occur; Prioritize power supply to industrial parks, manufacturing enterprises, and provide materials to support people in repairing houses and production facilities; Try to fix the problems of the 500, 220, 110 kV lines and transformer stations by early this afternoon to be ready to supply power again.

“We have determined that the storm circulation will affect the Northwestern and Northeastern provinces, so power plants, especially hydropower plants, which provide large amounts of electricity to the North, are likely to be affected, so we need to be ready to handle any incidents that may occur,” Minister Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized.

"Along with that, the viewpoint of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is to direct efforts to overcome incidents of power lines and transformer stations while ensuring safe use of electricity, so the provision of information and guidance to production facilities and people are all guaranteed," Minister Nguyen Hong Dien clearly stated.
