Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son highly appreciated the preparation work at high school graduation exam sites in Hau Giang.

(HG O ) – On June 11 , Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son and the working delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training inspected the preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam at a number of testing sites in the province.

Receiving and accompanying the Delegation was Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Hau Giang province.

Here, the delegation inspected the actual test printing locations at the Department of Education and Training and 2/20 test locations in the province, including the test location of Tam Vu High School (Chau Thanh A district) with 19 test rooms and 437 candidates (51 regular candidates and independent candidates); and the test location of Vi Thanh High School (Vi Thanh city) with 27 test rooms and 635 candidates (234 candidates from the Provincial Continuing Education Center and independent candidates).

At each testing point, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son highly appreciated the initiative of schools in preparing and planning to support candidates in the High School Graduation Exam.

With only a few days left for the important exam, the Minister noted that schools should continue to review and closely follow the high school graduation exam regulations to ensure the exam is safe and serious but does not cause stress for candidates, creating conditions for them to participate in the exam with the most comfortable spirit.

Minister Nguyen Kim Son has made many notes about the test sites after the actual inspection.

Minister Nguyen Kim Son especially noted: In the printing and copying of exam papers, we must pay attention to confidentiality, ensuring absolute safety and security in all stages of the exam.

Always have backup plans to support unexpected situations; proactively prevent cheating in exams using high-tech devices .

Schools focus on reminding candidates to absolutely not use or bring phones into the exam room, and not to commit any cheating acts during the exam, so that the exam can be organized in the best way...

In the 2024 high school graduation exam, the whole province has about 7,300 candidates who are 12th grade students of high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education centers and independent candidates registered to take the exam (an increase of more than 330 candidates compared to the 2023 exam). The number of candidates registering for the natural science exam is 2,024 and the number of candidates registering for the social science exam is 5,251.

The Examination Council of the Hau Giang Department of Education and Training has established 20 examination sites, with a total of 320 examination rooms. Each examination site will have 2 additional examination rooms and 4 reserve invigilators to be deployed when necessary. It is expected that about 1,097 cadres, teachers and staff will be mobilized to invigilate the examinations at the examination councils.
