At the same time, promptly build and deploy a Strategic Dialogue mechanism between the two ruling parties; effectively promote the five pillars of the Framework Agreement on connecting the two economies, making Vietnam-Singapore cooperation truly become an exemplary relationship as the two countries' senior leaders desire, especially in areas where both sides have strengths and needs such as renewable energy, science and technology, digital economy, digital transformation, innovation, seaport development, financial centers, smart cities, etc.; study a tripartite cooperation model, contributing to narrowing the development gap in the region.

Believing that in the complicated and uncertain context of the world and regional situation, the close relationship between Vietnam and Singapore is the "constant" factor to cope with the "ever-changing" situation, Minister Le Hoai Trung thanked Singapore for standing shoulder to shoulder with Vietnam in difficult times, most recently with the relief shipments to the northern provinces of Vietnam to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

Expressing his gratitude to Minister Le Hoai Trung for taking the time to meet him, Ambassador Jaya Ratnam expressed her joy at witnessing Vietnam's remarkable development steps; honored to have contributed to the successful organization of 10 high-level delegation exchanges in the past 4 years, opening up many new directions of cooperation, such as wind power trade, rice trade, carbon credits..., while contributing to maintaining Singapore's position as the world's second largest investor in Vietnam and establishing 7 more VSIPs during her term of office, bringing the total number of VSIPs to 20 in 13 provinces and cities of Vietnam.

Affirming that no matter what position he holds, he will continue to foster the Vietnam-Singapore relationship, including developing the second generation of VSIP, with greater science and technology content, making security and defense, and human resource development new pillars in the cooperation between the two countries, promoting deeper connections, not only in hard infrastructure, but also in data and people.

Ambassador Jaya Ratnam also hopes that the two sides will continue to closely coordinate and support each other at regional and international forums, especially in 2027, when Vietnam will host APEC and Singapore will be the ASEAN Chair.
