Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association congratulates the National Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia

On November 6 in Hanoi, the Central Delegation of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association led by Permanent Vice President Le Van Tuy came to congratulate the Cambodian Embassy in Vietnam on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia (November 9, 1953 - November 9, 2025).

At the meeting, Mr. Le Van Tuy sent his congratulations to Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Chea Kimtha and all staff of the Embassy, ​​and wished Cambodia further development, prosperity and happiness.

Mr. Le Van Tuy informed the Ambassador about some key activities of the Association from now until the end of 2025, notably the Vietnam - Cambodia Student Exchange Program, scheduled to be held on November 15 in Hung Yen province. He respectfully invited Ambassador Chea Kimtha to attend, emphasizing that enhancing understanding and connection between the young generations of the two countries is an important task, contributing to fostering a strong Vietnam - Cambodia friendship in the future.

In addition, he said that in December 2025, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association and the Cambodia - Vietnam Friendship Association are expected to jointly organize a joint conference to summarize the work in 2025, evaluate the results of coordination and agree on the direction of activities in 2026.

Mr. Le Van Tuy expressed his deep gratitude to the Cambodian Embassy in Vietnam, especially Ambassador Chea Kimtha, for always accompanying and actively supporting the Association's activities, contributing to enhancing people-to-people exchange and cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Chea Kimtha respectfully thanked Mr. Le Van Tuy and the Central Committee of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association for their congratulations on the occasion of Cambodia's National Day. She highly appreciated the affection and care that the Association has shown to the Cambodian Embassy during annual celebrations, considering it a vivid manifestation of the friendship and solidarity between the people of the two countries.

Ambassador Chea Kimtha emphasized that the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association is an important bridge in fostering traditional friendship, in which many members of the Association have sponsored Cambodian students studying in Vietnam, shared study and life experiences, contributing to strengthening the bond between the people of the two countries.

She said she will arrange time to attend upcoming activities of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association.
