Ca Mau province needs to connect with large distribution corporations and leading supermarket chains in Korea to create favorable conditions for Ca Mau businesses to bring key agricultural and aquatic products into official distribution channels.
The locality also called for investment in Ca Mau in the field of renewable energy (offshore wind power, solar power); and strengthened cooperation with Korean localities to promote the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on receiving seasonal workers from Ca Mau to Korea.
Then, on the afternoon of November 5, at the invitation of Busan Mayor Park Hyeong Jun, Consul General Doan Phuong Lan attended the opening ceremony of the Busan International Fisheries and Seafood Fair 2025 and, together with representatives of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), visited the booths of Vietnamese enterprises at the Fair.
Consul General Doan Phuong Lan discussed with Vietnamese enterprises cooperation opportunities at the Busan International Fisheries and Seafood Fair, the potential of the Korean seafood import market, difficulties and obstacles of enterprises in the process of penetrating the Korean market and the goals and plans to promote seafood products through the Busan International Fisheries and Seafood Fair.
The Vietnamese business delegation participating in this year's Fair has more than 10 enterprises such as Hoang Giang Seafood Company Limited, Du Thai Binh Company Limited, Ca Mau Seafood Processing and Service Joint Stock Company, Tan Phat Loi Cooperative, Truong Phuc Seafood Company Limited, TA Trading and Service Company Limited...
The Busan International Fisheries & Fisheries Fair is Korea's largest annual international seafood fair. This year, the event attracted more than 380 booths from 30 countries, making it the third largest seafood fair in Asia.
