
On the afternoon of April 26, the Ministry of Health , a number of central hospitals, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, and the Hai Duong Department of Health jointly organized a free medical examination program with the theme "For a healthy Vietnam" in Hiep An ward (Kinh Mon).
Attending the event were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Deputy Minister of Health; Nguyen Minh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Lien Huong emphasized that health is not simply a healthy body, free from disease but also physical and mental health. In the new era, comprehensive, equitable, people-centered health care is the development orientation of Vietnam's health sector.
In response to that demand, the Ministry of Health has been promoting the transformation of the traditional healthcare model into a preventive healthcare model, proactive healthcare model; developing primary healthcare, digital healthcare and green healthcare. In particular, 2025 is also the year marking a major step forward in the roadmap for implementing the National Strategy on protecting, caring for and improving people's health for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045.
At the program, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Lien Huong presented 1.8 billion VND in cash, gifts and medical examination packages to the people of Hai Duong .
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung acknowledged and thanked the noble gesture of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, charitable organizations and individuals who sponsored the program to be implemented promptly, bringing practical medical services to the people of Hiep An ward in particular and the people of Hai Duong province in general.

This is a practical activity demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and sharing between businesses, entrepreneurs, medical staff and the people. Each health gift given today is a message of love, a kind gesture that sows hope and belief in the future for people in difficult circumstances.
Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung expressed his hope that, with the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and support, the leaders of the health sector and the Young Doctors Association will continue to widely spread the noble tradition for the health of the community. Party committees and authorities at all levels always aim to leave no one behind. Every family and every person will receive the best health care. This is also the spirit of the Humanitarian Month that Hai Duong province has launched.


Also at the program, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association organized medical examinations and presented 500 gifts and medicines to the elderly and students; presented 10 gifts to relatives and mothers of martyrs and 10 gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the ward.
