Which four banks have interest rates exceeding 7%?

Banks announce extremely attractive interest rates for long-term depositors

On December 26, four banks offered interest rates exceeding 7% - an extremely attractive interest rate for long-term savings customers.

- PVcomBank listed an interest rate of up to 9.5%/year for a term of 12-13 months with a minimum deposit balance of VND 2,000 billion.

- HDBank offers interest rates of up to 8.1%/year for a 13-month term and 7.7% for a 12-month term. The condition for customers to enjoy this interest rate is to maintain a minimum balance of VND 500 billion.

- MSB applies interest rates of up to 8% for 13-month terms and 7% for 12-month terms on the condition that customers must have a new savings account opened or automatically renewed from January 1, 2018 onwards, with a deposit amount of VND 500 billion or more.

- Dong A Bank applies an interest rate of 7.5% for deposits of 200 billion VND or more, and also applies an interest rate of 6.1% for a 24-month term.

Some other banks also offer interest rates above 6%/year for long-term terms without special conditions.

- BVBank applies interest rate of 6% for 12-month term, 6.2% for 15-month term and up to 6.3% for 18-24-month term.

- IVB applies an interest rate of 6.2%/year for terms of 24 months or more and 6.05% for terms of 18 to 13 months.

- GPBank applies an interest rate of 6.05% for a 12-month term and 6.15% for a term from 13 to 36 months.

- Cake by VPBank lists an interest rate of 6.1% for 24 and 36 month terms.

- OceanBank offers an interest rate of 6.1% for a 24-month term.

- VRB and Dong A Bank are listed at 6% for 24-month term.

- HDBank and BAOVIET Bank both list interest rates of 6% for terms of 15, 18, 24 and 36 months, with flexible deposit conditions.

- Eximbank offers attractive interest rates of up to 6.3%/year for 15-month terms and 6.4%/year for terms of 18 months or more on weekends.
