Bond arrives in Hanoi, all ticket proceeds go to support people affected by the storm

Mr. Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee , Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, said that the Bond Live in Vietnam concert will take place at 8:00 p.m. on October 5 at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ). All ticket sales of the concert will be used to support people suffering heavy losses caused by storm No. 3.

"This time, the Bond group not only brings top-notch music to Vietnamese audiences but also contributes to raising charity funds for Nhan Dan Newspaper. Accordingly, all ticket sales during the concert will be donated by the organizers to support people who suffered heavy losses in storm No. 3," Mr. Le Quoc Minh shared.

Bond Quartet

This legendary string quartet has performed in Vietnam many times before. One time, Bond performed at the Monsoon Music Festival, organized by musician Quoc Trung.

One of the directors of Monsoon , director Pham Hoang Nam, will also direct Bond Live in Vietnam . "The band's strict requirements are definitely still sound and lighting," said Mr. Nam. However, Mr. Nam said that the organizers and he can completely meet this because he has worked with the group before.

A request from Bond when performing this time was also revealed by Mr. Le Quoc Minh. "They requested that in the meeting before the performance, they should not shake hands too tightly, almost just touch, that is a mandatory requirement so as not to affect the performance. They are very careful in protecting their hands because the group performs musical instruments. At first, I was a bit surprised by this request, but this shows how careful the artists are in ensuring safety for a performance," said Mr. Le Quoc Minh.

Bond is expected to perform about 20 famous works, including the hits that made the group famous. This is also similar to the practice of international artists, who often choose familiar works to perform in the most fluent and sublime way.

Just like Kenny G, in this collaboration with Nhan Dan Newspaper, Bond will make a music video to spread the beauty of culture, promote the image of Vietnam and its people to international friends.

"This year, Bond will film the MV in another location. This time, the production team will make the MV in a form of interweaving images of Vietnam on the background music so that the audience can both enjoy the music and watch the images. The organizers have surveyed the location and discussed with the locality to come up with plans for the MV production but cannot reveal specifics yet," said Mr. Le Quoc Minh.

Bond is a female musical group consisting of members: Tania Davis (violin), Eos Counsell (violin), Elspeth Hanson (viola) and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello). The string quartet from London (England) is famous worldwide for its musical style that blends classical and modern, creating special music. The group's songs Shine, Victory, Hungarian, Explosive, Summer... have become favorite melodies around the world.

Active since 2000, over the past 24 years, the four members of Bond have maintained a youthful, modern performance style and maintained their title as the most successful string quartet in the history of world music.
