The friendly match between the ASEAN All Star team and Manchester United will take place on May 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium (Malaysia). Just one day later, on May 29, the Malaysian team will have a friendly match with the Cape Verde team (in Africa).

Therefore, the Malaysian players preparing for the friendly match against Cape Verde did not attend the match against Man Utd the day before.

The coach of the Southeast Asian All-Star team, preparing to play against Man Utd, is Mr. Kim Sang Sik. The Korean coach has called up 4 Vietnamese players to the ASEAN All Star team. These 4 players are all true stars, including central defender Do Duy Manh, left-back Nguyen Van Vi, midfielders Nguyen Hai Long and Nguyen Hoang Duc.

Thailand also contributed 4 players, while Malaysia contributed 5 players. In terms of quantity, Malaysia is the football nation that contributed the most players to the ASEAN All Star team, before the match at Bukit Jalil Stadium on the evening of May 28. However, in terms of quality, the Malaysian players in this squad are not of high quality.
