On social media, midfielder Do Hoang Hen attracted attention when he cheered for the Vietnamese team on TV. He posted a picture of himself attentively watching the team compete, with the caption: "Keep trying Vietnam".

Hoang Hen's post quickly attracted a large number of interactions. Many fans look forward to the day this midfielder will debut for the national team.

After becoming a Vietnamese citizen at the end of October, Hoang Hen was eager to wear the national team jersey. However, during the training session for the FIFA Days series in November, the Hanoi FC player was not called up by coach Kim Sang-sik due to not meeting the requirements.

It is expected that when the Vietnamese team reunites in March 2026, new opportunities may open up for Hoang Hen.
