English exam: Lightning damaged lights and electricity in 8 exam rooms

On the afternoon of June 4, candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year finished with the English exam. This exam session was absent for 63 candidates and 15 invigilators. The absent invigilators were replaced by backup invigilators.

At examination council number 18 (Nguyen Trai High School), lightning struck and damaged the lights and electricity in 8 examination rooms. The problem was resolved immediately afterwards, without affecting the candidates' test taking. Nguyen Trai High School examination council has 25 examination rooms, with 583 candidates taking the exam.

Candidates leave the exam room after the English test is over at the Tay Ninh High School examination board.

Also during the English exam, at the exam council of Tran Dai Nghia High School, there was a supervisor who suffered from hypocalcemia and could not continue his duties (he was replaced by a backup supervisor).

On June 5, candidates took the entrance exam to Hoang Le Kha High School for the Gifted, including the following subjects: Literature, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, History and English. The exam time for specialized subjects is 150 minutes. For Information Technology, candidates will take a programming test on a computer, while for the remaining subjects, candidates will take an essay test.
