According to Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Nam province, the Land Law (amended) being considered and discussed by the 15th National Assembly and expected to be approved at the 6th Session has demonstrated the great determination of the State in the process of perfecting the land law system, aiming to maximize land resources in the socio -economic development of the country and harmoniously resolve the legitimate rights and interests of land users; at the same time, ensuring consistency and strictness in land management to improve efficiency and sustainability is considered and given top priority.

Previously, when implementing the 2013 Land Law, Quang Nam encountered some shortcomings in applying the provisions of the land law to resolve practical issues related to the recognition of land use rights and the implementation of land recovery, compensation, support, and site clearance to implement socio-economic development projects.

With an increasingly complete and more specific legal corridor, the promulgation of the 2023 Land Law will help entities in land management and use have a clear and stable legal basis; easy to apply and implement; cut down on some administrative procedures, and make digital transformation more powerful in the field of resource and environmental management in general and the land sector in particular.

At the same time, the Law with many adjusted and innovated contents is expected to contribute to resolving difficulties and problems arising from practical practices in land management and use nationwide in recent times, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of land; contributing to unblocking and removing bottlenecks in the implementation of investment projects due to entanglement in mechanisms and policies on land law in recent times, thereby accelerating the investment progress of works and projects and timely disbursement of public investment capital; ... supporting, encouraging and attracting more investment resources from society into land, thereby promoting socio-economic development and all aspects of people's lives.

For Quang Nam province, the promulgation of the Land Law (amended) is of great significance and importance to the people and relevant state management agencies. The entire political and social system is waiting and expecting that the Land Law (amended) when passed by the National Assembly will contribute to solving problems and shortcomings in land management and use in the province such as land recovery, compensation, support, resettlement; unreasonable policies and land use policies and unstable development of the real estate market, causing waste of land resources; concerns about equal rights in land access as well as the right to housing of citizens as stipulated in the Constitution.

In particular, the Land Law (amended) passed will help state management agencies and enterprises in Quang Nam follow the spirit of aiming for and achieving the highest efficiency in land management and use to serve the socio-economic development of the province; land resources must continue to be affirmed as a particularly important resource, deciding the economic, cultural and social development of the province, directly affecting land users, economic sectors, especially the lives of each person and household in the province.
