
These events are part of the program “Ca Mau-Destination 2025”, with the aim of promoting brands, culinary culture, OCOP products and calling for investment in the province. The press conference was chaired by Vice Chairmen of the People’s Committee of Ca Mau province: Le Van Su and Ngo Vu Thang, and Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nam Phong.

According to information at the press conference, "Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd Time" with the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Fragrance - Sea Flavor", will officially take place from November 16 to November 22, 2025.
The key activities will be concentrated in 3 days, from November 16 to November 18, 2025. The opening ceremony will be solemnly held at 8:00 p.m. on November 16 at Phan Ngoc Hien Square (An Xuyen Ward) and broadcast live on Ca Mau Newspaper, Radio and Television.

The highlight of the festival is the large-scale exhibition, trade and culinary space. Highlights include the crab industry exhibition area, OCOP products and startups with 312 booths, along with the General Trade Fair gathering 224 booths.

In particular, the Ca Mau Crab culinary space with 20 booths will organize performances and prepare crab dishes every night (from November 17 to November 21).
One of the most anticipated activities is the “Record Setting” contest for Ca Mau Crab, including the selection of the largest crab and the display of unique models and souvenirs. The Closing and Award Ceremony of the contest is scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 18 at the Provincial Convention Center.

To expand the scope of promotion, Ca Mau province will coordinate with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to organize the event "Hello Ca Mau" from November 18 to November 22 in Ho Chi Minh City. This event includes an investment promotion conference at Rex Hotel and a Ca Mau Crab Food Festival (100 booths) at the Youth Cultural House.
Along with the Crab Festival, the “Marathon-Ca Mau 2025 Petrovietnam Cup” will officially take place on November 15 and 16. This is an expanded provincial-level race, sponsored by the Vietnam National Energy Industry Group (Petrovietnam). The tournament is expected to attract 6,000 professional and amateur athletes from the country and abroad living in Vietnam.
The marathon opening ceremony will be broadcast live at 8:00 p.m. on November 15. Competition activities include a 2km Kid Run on the afternoon of November 15 and the main distances of 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km on the morning of November 16. All distances will start and finish at Hung Vuong Square (Bac Lieu Ward).
The November event series in Ca Mau also includes many special specialized and cultural activities. Notably, the International Conference “Innovation for sustainable development of the Ca Mau-Vietnam crab industry” took place on the morning of November 18, with the participation of domestic experts and experts from countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Along with that is the “CamaUP'25” Startup Festival with the theme “Green aquaculture - Sustainable development trend” (November 16-17).
Other cultural activities include: Regional “Southern Amateur Music Festival” (November 13-15), street parade (November 16), and folk games such as Crab Catching and Crab Racing (every night from November 17-21). The province also organizes Famtrip programs and tours to experience crab farming areas and craft villages.
With careful preparation, Ca Mau hopes that this event will create a strong push, enhance the competitiveness of the Ca Mau crab brand, attract investors and contribute to building a complete value chain for the crab industry.
