Ca Mau: Agriculture, forestry and fishery sector achieves many growth targets by 2025

Implementing Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP and 154/NQ-CP of the Government, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has synchronously deployed plans for development of Region I, contributing significantly to the socio-economic growth of the province in 2025. According to the report dated November 10, 2025 of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, 13/19 main targets have been achieved and exceeded the plan. Total aquatic product output is estimated at 1,270,000 tons, reaching 100.2% of the plan, of which shrimp output is estimated at 614,788 tons, equal to 105.3% of the plan. Rice output is 1,902,731 tons (102.1% of the plan); the herd of pigs for sale is estimated at 680,000 (100.74%); the herd of poultry for sale is estimated at 13.18 million (100.04%).
