Tung Loc commune currently has dozens of households engaged in traditional incense production. Since the beginning of November, the number of orders at establishments has increased by 30-40%. To meet market demand, establishments have proactively increased working hours, invested in equipment and machinery, ensuring a quality supply to consumers.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Phuong - Owner of An An Clean Incense (Bac Tan Dan village, Tung Loc commune) shared: "For about a month now, my facility has increased daily production volume by 2-3 times compared to normal days, estimated at 400-500 kg of finished incense/day. We also mobilized more than 20 workers to work regularly; invested in drying equipment to maintain production rhythm in rainy and windy weather conditions."
According to Mr. Phuong, in addition to traditional incense lines, the facility also proactively produces many other diverse types of incense such as: agarwood, cypress, rosewood, cinnamon... to conquer "difficult" markets. Currently, traditional incense products at Tung Loc are not only consumed in the province, but also exported to many other provinces/cities such as: Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang...

At Trung Luong blacksmith village (Bac Hong Linh ward), these days, each blazing charcoal kiln combined with the sound of hammers and crackling fire creates a bustling, busy production atmosphere. With hundreds of years of history, Trung Luong blacksmith village is a place that supplies products such as knives, sickles, plowshares, hoes, machetes... to the market in and outside the province.
“Every year, 2-3 months before Tet is the peak production time because of the high demand for orders. Each product has to go through many stages, meticulously and meticulously. Although it is hard work, the quality products reach the hands of users, are well received by the market, we have more income so we are very excited. Currently, the volume of goods produced is accelerated, increasing by 30-40% compared to normal days, and is expected to continue to increase in the months near Tet” - Mr. Le Van Long (Tan Mieu Residential Group, Bac Hong Linh Ward) said.

Mr. Le Ba Khanh - Vice Chairman of Bac Hong Linh Ward People's Committee said: "Trung Luong blacksmith village currently has more than 100 households, businesses and production facilities. Famous for its good quality and affordable prices, the products of the blacksmith village are well received by the market. Although many facilities suffered heavy damage after storms No. 5 and No. 10, people quickly recovered and soon stabilized production. Hopefully, with the proactive spirit of the people, the companionship and support of the local government, production activities in the blacksmith village will soon stabilize, and people will have an additional source of income in the peak months at the end of the year."

Along with many other craft villages, fish sauce production facilities in Ha Tinh are also entering the peak production period to serve the Lunar New Year. At Thien Trong fish sauce facility (Cam Trung commune), workers are rushing to complete batches of fish sauce, preparing a large supply to meet market demand.
It is known that thanks to strict adherence to traditional production processes, Thien Trong fish sauce was recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards at the end of 2023. This is not only a testament to quality but also a solid "support" to help the product expand its consumption market.

Sharing about the business situation at the end of the year, Ms. Le Thi Thien - the owner of the facility said: "On the occasion of Tet, the number of orders increased sharply, both from direct customers and units exporting to provinces and cities. The consumption output during peak days can reach nearly 1,000 liters/day. To meet this strong growth, the facility has proactively purchased raw materials and completed the preparation stages many months in advance, to ensure the supply of nearly 60,000 liters of high-quality fish sauce to the Tet market."
The proactive promotion of production in the last months of the year is helping traditional craft villages in Ha Tinh ensure a stable supply for the Tet market, thereby increasing people's income and positively contributing to local socio-economic development.
