Heavy rain in many places across the country

It is forecasted that today, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms will occur in the Viet Bac, Northeast and Northern Delta regions, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 60-130mm, locally over 220mm. In the Northwest region, rainfall will range from 40-70mm, locally over 150mm.

In addition, from this evening, the North Central region may have heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 40-100mm, locally over 180mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>120mm/3h).

The Central Highlands and the South will also experience thunderstorms this evening, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, and some places over 70mm.

Provinces and cities from Thanh Hoa to Hue are cloudy, with showers in the north, some places with moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places with very heavy rain; sunny in the south, some places with hot sun. The lowest temperature is 25-28 degrees Celsius, the highest is 33-35 degrees Celsius.

Provinces and cities from Da Nang to Binh Thuan have clouds, sunny days, hot in some places; showers to heavy rain in the south. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius, highest 31-35 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands region is cloudy with moderate to heavy rain (rain concentrated in the afternoon and night). Lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius, highest 29-32 degrees Celsius.

Southern region is cloudy, moderate to heavy rain (rain concentrated in the afternoon and night). Lowest temperature 24-27 degrees Celsius, highest 30-33 degrees Celsius.
