Coffee pickers

After a coffee break to start the day, the group members got down to picking up trash and raising awareness among young people about protecting the environment for a green, clean, and beautiful city.

On the morning of September 29th, after meeting for coffee, young people from the Bien Hoa Green group gathered to pick up trash along Bien Hung Lake in Bien Hoa City.

The Bien Hoa Green Group, affiliated with the Vietnam Youth Union of Bien Hoa City, was established in June 2023. In addition to projects cleaning up polluted canals, the group has recently implemented many new initiatives such as: garbage-collecting coffee shops, talk shows about the environment, and campaigns to reduce plastic use.

Not only along the lake, but even on the lawns in the park, there was a lot of trash that the cleanup team was working on.

After finishing their coffee, a local resident saw the Bien Hoa Green team arrive and threw their plastic coffee cup into a trash bag.

The little boy saw his older siblings picking up trash and also picked up a straw from under the park bench where he was sitting.

According to Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tuan, Chairman of the Bien Hoa Green Club, the group currently has 20 official members and about 50 collaborators. They are mainly factory workers, office staff, students, etc., who share a passion and enthusiasm for community service.

The group of young people brought the trash to the collection point.

Bien Hoa Green's inspiring approach to environmental protection is being enthusiastically embraced by young people and many cafes in Dong Nai , and is having a widespread impact.
